Biodiesel will clean the heck out of it. If it is white gunck it is a water and metal problem, but B100 will do the job.

Okay tyler which pto did you engage the one in the middle of the cab or next to the door?
As for the tires did you look at them before airing them up?
The kill solenoid is not a reason to knock but maybe 150 off an A2 , I take them off if they fail and never replace them.
The air problem was...
Naw man just a mechanic that sees how engineers screw things up constantly, and you will need much thicker skin if you thought that was negative.
Yeah you are just the shoe smeller and ball licker at the bowling alley! Get to twisting wrenches discoball! I would like to at least see you put in...
Great 2 engineers can't agree on which way to proceed. To bad they don't have to, we could see a true monstrosity of a fix that would cost $100,000 and fill the cargo box completely and only work if the truck is running 55 mph or over.
Okay so I have the 411. If you are bringing something on a trailer, we have a big lot straight across from museum that you can park your tow rig in. No guns on post. You can put your swapmeet goods out next to your truck on a table or ground and if you have any more questions please ask. I will...
Yeah M925 basic only differences are 14.00x20 vs 11.00x20 and fender mounts to clear the super singles. Definitely drop the rear driveshaft and make sure the front hubs are unlocked, and for that distance I might drop the front.

Nope that number is a USMC number for truck and unit, but the vin should be stamped in the frame near the steering box, if I remember correctly it should start C13xxxxx.

Gimpy is correct it should be 24v for floodlights and any other electrical around the gondola like heater. If I remember correctly it was controlled by the floodlights switch in the cab on the 816 and 819.

You can put a civilian flow though muffler under there but I would not end the exhaust any where near the cab as it has 2 large vents one under and one on the back of the cab that would allow fumes in.

Okay so here's the thing going from the M39 series to M809 there was a frame length change up front because of the longer engine the 855 is longer than anything else used in the 5 tons I believe. Going from M809 series to M939 series the engine stayed put but the cab was raised and rear...
Yes! Finally a wrecker question worth digging into, that I don't know the answer to. Also not all wreckers had the brake release under the steering wheel.
