Shooting range nearby also but no guns allowed on base so we might have to figure that out if you want to shoot and go on post.

I saw at least 50+ RRAD trucks on RSMS Camp Shelby with less than 100 miles on them before they went from RRAD to RSMS, even seen one with less than 5 miles. All were awaiting a real complete rebuild, frame off, total strip down, and rebuild. The RRAD were all pretty but that's where it ends...
Here we go, looks like April 28. We will have fun fun fun. We will be a the Armed Forces Museum on Camp Shelby on the 28 th from 8 am until 4 pm .

Sounds like you need to make an A frame or other type over head lifting assembly. Doesn't have to be expensive just make it twice as strong as you think it needs to be.
On a separate note do you have the part numbers on the engine rebuild kit for the 8.3L?

Arms, tie rods, rod ends, stabilizer, steering head, pump, whatever helps steer. I want to know who builds best stock replacement rod ends and arms?

Not trying to be a downer but don't think a 809 series truck is going to be easily bagged because of all the reasons listed before but a 939 cab would be easy I think.

Big thing to look at here is it is in Alaska, that alone makes it worth 2-3k more than one in the lower 48. Ask just because it could be a good deal.

As to the heaters they will run you out if it is properly maintained I just took mine out for a run in 15f and 10 miles down the road I had to turn it down. The back window is useless on the wrecker so cover it if you like.

Dont know why you shorter guys have so many problems with the M939 series cab. I am 6'8" 340 lbs with a destroyed back, 7 major back surgeries, I have put thousands of miles in stock setups. Learn about your trucks the stock seat has many adjustments, try tightening the spring for more leg room...
