You could buy adapter for grease gun that looks like adapter that pumps up basketballs footballs,etc... You just have to hit the ball in the fitting than instead of covering whole fitting with grease gun end. My 2 cent
The reason switching to dexon 3 from motor oil helps is dexon has a friction modafier in it. That allows the clutches or bands to slip a little before they engage. In common words it cushion engagement some and that's fine when you are unload but when you are fully load(like military use the...
If you want more traction. It's time for new tires michlien or goodyears. Or some will say chains or air down the tires some. Someone has also took a tread regroover and cut grooves in the ndt tread pattern. Just my two cents. It looks like you are having fun anyway. You can send some down to Pa...
Just my 2 cents but the moroso racing bullet are just like glasspacks. If you want something to sound different than glasspacks . I would go with a chamber muffler like a flowmaster 40 series, or a knock off to them. Had a buddy that had a 86 civy 1 ton 6.2 4spd manual put knock off flowmaster...

I know you said the injectors were replaced was the valves ran at sometime?. Also I don't know if the 250 is like the 400 big cam but timing was adjusted by shims on the cam follower covers(have to have special setup tools). Maybe help to check timing and or advance it alittle. Some people have...
You said it has a rebuilt engine in it. Did all the grounds go back on when it was replaced? There should be acouple. One that goes to the firewall one that goes to the frame. If you don't have a good ground you could be burn up ignition circuit because it back feeding lookin for a ground...
Is anybody going this year. I was there last year or the year before. Seen several MV. Some bobbers, some cucv, jeeps, reg duece and I think m109. I figured I'd ask so if we go I'll know who to look for.
I would go through and change all the fluids and filter. It's peace of mind and a good start point for you to keep tract of it. Plus you don't know how long it been seating or serviced last. I would also drain fuel tank and flush it. And seen you are in there check the rubber hose on the fuel...
I guess he had the boat with him just in case he went to deep. I think the NJ reserves should of brought one with them during Katrina. When they totally went under water with the hummer and deuces.Would of not had to swim then. :)
It not 2nd gear that you need. It the main shaft that you will need. You said they milled down the shaft not enlarged the gear. The new 2nd gear will be the same inside diameter as the old one so it be just as sloppy as the old one that on it now. Just remember this time to cool down the...
I would start to look at the injection pump. I don't know which TM to lookin for that but someone will chime in with it. If you don't have the TM you can download them on here for free. Good luck.

It sound to me that the engine stop cable is screwed up or something in the injection pump is screwed up causing the cable to move and shutting down the truck. That what I got out of it.
I believe 73m819 is correct. I believe must gears are pressed on fitted in manual trans. If anything you should of put shaft in freezer and warmed up the gear some. That would of giving you enough clearance to get gear on the shaft. When everything went back to room temp it would of tightened...
