Once again, had a great time at the show. It's one of the few times of the year I can get together with my friends and enjoy my hobby, sell off a few things I don't need to make a couple bucks, and relax a little more than usual. Lost 2 wheel studs on the trip (!!!), but torqued the rest down...
If anyone has 4-5 extra lids for .50 cal ammo cans, I could use them. I bought a lot of ammo cans in december, not all the cans had lids. :(
Also, looking for a good quality, preferably older US-made, bench grinder. Nothing too big, just for home shop use...

If you use white pine, try getting a 5-gallon bucket of linseed oil or tung oil, and coat the heck out of it, giving the stuff plenty of time to soak in, before you recoat. When that stuff dries it hardens like noones business. Might make the pine last a LOT longer than normal.
Lots of equipment trailer owners around here go with locust boards, rough cut from the sawmill, instead of oak. Locust is very hard, sometimes called ironwood. A lot of the old fences around here are locust wood, the fences built 50-60 years ago and the posts are still standing. Not cheap, but...

Saturn has recently sold a pile of parts off to other vendors, TNJ Murray and Eastern Surplus come to mind. I believe the owner of Saturn wants to get out of the business entirely. Chances are, the reason they are not communicating is that they are shut down already.
