"I'll restore it someday". No you won't you inbred hick. It will disolve into the dirt until it's WORTHLESS, and when you die your family who curse your name for being a royal PITA pack-rat all your life, will bring a roll-back dumpster to your place after your funeral and sell your...
It's always a fun time at Rausch Creek! Even when the rain starts falling sideways!
It's a shame they don't have small fixed pavilions at RC like they do at Haspin, Having them might've kept a few campers around until Sunday morning.
Either way, still had a great time, was good to see the...
I've never been in an environment where any cylinders exploded, but I have been around a couple that fell over and their valves sheared off. Both were CO2 cylinders, the BIG ones, one took off like a rocket and punched a hole in both sides of a storage trailer. The other was boxed in and...
Nice setup you have there - I'd love to get a couple pioneer tool trailers sometime in the future. Fix one up as a camping trailer, and restore and refit the other as originally issued. They are very useful trailers and it looks great behind a CUCV.
Any word from psychobob? Sometimes he just shows up Friday morning to hold our spot, but he rarely chimes in that he's coming. Last time he showed to this rally was last Spring.
We plan around 10am for the trails, but it always seems like we can't get moving fast enough come sunrise. If you're there around 9am, it will give you time for the rest of us to wake up, and for you to sign in at the office, get paid up and get your wristbands so you're able to go out on the...
Plans have changed a little for me - I am going to make it, but probably won't be there until breakfast time on Saturday morning, staying until Sunday sometime. We don't wheel on Fridays anymore, so I'm not missing anything except for the campfire Friday night.
New tires in big sizes cost a lot. Period. Paragraph.
The prices above aren't bad for what you are getting - running your truck on 40-year-old NDTs is hazardous for your ride, and your safety.
I recommend Murphy's in El Cajon, CA. It's a ways south of you, near San Diego, but they specialize in military radios and equipment. Might be able to help you out with any parts you need.

The convversations have moved from G to PG to R to X rated. It moves where the attendees move it, but we are very good about toning down our language if kids are present. We are as family-friendly as we can get, so please, feel free to bring your family! We'll play nice.
Those are a very interesting find - nearly 100 years old and still able to be assembled and represent their original completeness. Awesome, to say the least.
Thanks for finding them good homes!
Then that might be okay, it's a grey area I guess.
That HEMMT would fit down the main trails, where we hang out anyways, so bring it! Love to see that beast at RC....
We've mentioned this fact before: there is nothing in the manual saying that this is a "dump" trailer. The fact that it can dump when you pull a couple pins out of the frame/body junction, is part of a design flaw, in my honest opinion. The fact that your arms cracked is evidence that this...
And the costs of the chiropractor you will need to hire for yourself and anyone who rides with you on the 2,000 mile journey for your lower back problems you will get from riding in a deuce that long a distance.
When I had my deuces, and I owned 9 of them, I enjoyed taking them to rallies, but...
They're military trucks. Unless you are keeping a parade truck, or a trailer/show queen, just leave it outside. Repaint every few years.
If you feel the need to keep it out of the rain, a tarp strung out, tied in the trees will do the trick for most rains. When hurricane season comes...
