i've been using an inline pump on my m-61 for 5 yrs now since the one on the block crapped out and i can.t find one. it's mounted right ater the filter on the frame. it's 12 volt wired to a cheap 24 to 12 volt inverter.
you want to feel safe, put a couple pieces of chain around the tire and wheel when you start inflating the tire. i usually go around the ring smacking it with the sledge making sure it seats GOOD. if you don't feel comfortable let a tire shop do it. i've been doing rims for a good 55...
