thanks for all the feedback guys i figured it out. the outer bearing will NOT go on the spindle any further than it's supposed to .i learned something today. thanks guys

ya G744 i was hoping that wasn't the case. i'm 72 yrs old and the hub and drum together is beyond my back capabilities. i guess i'm gonna have to spring for a engine lift or put the brain to work on something. thanks for ur input guys . appreciate it.
ok guys, hit a road block here, can't get the drum nuts off. the bolts just spin. do i cut them or is there a secret u can share with me?? if i cut them, do i weld the new ones back in place??

did my buddies once , roll the windows down and put a 6x6 on the doors, or use a good piece of pipe or what ever, a small chainfall or a come a long makes life easier. my 2 cents ?
i drive mine every wed and sat to go up to the lottery store and get my useless powerball tickets . then i always run into someone that wants to chat about the truck , or take a pic with their kid in the truck. it's the social thing to do , right ?
he he ya , way back in 2003 when i went to reg my 5 ton, the vin # came back to a 65 mustang down in fla. it took 5 people and 1 1/2 hrs to straighten it out. it really had them scratching their heads. the boss said he'd never seen that happen., but i got my tags.
