hey let me know what u want for the dump when u decide. I've owned mine for 14 yrs. and plowed with it up mass. for 10 yrs. they get like 4 miles to gallon but will pull a house down. but in actuality a diesel only gets 4 to 6 miles a gallon. good luck
heh heh I used to take my 5 ton to work a couple days a week , and one afternoon , I just left work ,and there's all kinds off blinking lights in my mirror. it was the chief of police on his way home. he just wanted to make sure I didn't steal the truck from the armory. I asked him when...
since moving to N.C. and seeing how fast people drive down here, 60 mph on side roads, my convoy lights go on, when I leave my driveway, and stay on till I get back home. AND I get out of the way when I see a log truck coming up on my butt. these guys ARE crazy.
hey,did u ever look into tapping into the power steering pump as the main source for you're setup ?? a guy wanted to do it for me, but I never took him up on it.
hey guy, I was up north visiting , that's why I ain't got back to u. i don't have any pics, but I ran push arms from the plow frame to the axel. it did limit the travel of the axel, but u hardly noticed it. I took the pins out when I went on my journeys for better axel movement. I did use a 12v...

when mine went I went to the truck shop and got an ordinary fits anything air stoplight switch. covered the connections with grease and it's been fine for the past 10 yrs.

I used u-ship when I brought my 5 ton down from MA. it cost me $1700 . the trucker called me 2 weeks later and said he never got paid from u-ship. good luck
yep ,those are really intelligent pieces of crap. I reached in with long nose pliers and ripped all that crap out of the nozzle. our tax $$$ are paying people to come up with this crap and make our lives miserable. we are DOOMED
a while back there was a guy at the Rochester,Ma. county fair that had a 5 ton with aluminum buds on all around. it took the military look right out of it. I didn't like it. didn't look right. but to each his own.
there is an allen screw on the back of each horn. first stuff a rag in one horn, I mean use a screwdriver and jam it in there. build up air pressure and have someone sit in the truck and keep pressing the button while u turn the allen screw to the pitch u want. then reverse the process for the...
