yeh, i replaced both of mine about 5 yrs ago. the trick is to start with a real clean area, get all the grease off and keep it off. and make sure you install the inner ring in the right spot and bend the screw slightly like it says in the manual. use alot of PATIENCE and u can be done in a...
these clowns are messing with you. a 5 ton jack will pick up the any axel. you're only lifting one wheel, about 3 ton, i have no problem lifting my 5 ton with a 5 ton bottle jack.
i got a buddie that went thru that fiasco a couple years ago. was going along nice no problem, and blew a tire on the trailer. wound up off the road and cost him over $8k dollars for the wreckers ,just to put his p/u back on the road. they held his trl. and deuce hostage for payment. ya, go...
of course the tires would spin, look at the angle of the towbar. you put the fuel to it and the towbar pulls the weight off the rears and you're definitely gonna get spinning tires.
i don't think a converter will last using it with the plow pump . u can run 24 volts thru the 12 volt pump, like i say ,i've been using one that way for going on 8 yrs nowand no trouble. i did have a 30 amp converter for my radios and to work my strobes.
u can use a 12volt hydraulic unit on it. i've been using one on my 5 ton for 7 yrs now and don't have any trouble with it. thats picking up an 11 ft 1500ld wing plow. the singles, i think VINTAGE IRON has some.you will need power steering, or start going to the gym. it will be hard to...
a split rim IS a 2 piece rim . it is 2 halves that go together and they should be and outlawed. military rims are split ring rims. if that safety ring is installed right it won't hurt you. if you don't know what you're doing, DON'T don't attemp it.
how come these guys have a show on a weekday?if they had it on a sat or a sun we could do it, but i can't loose a days pay and spend $50.00 on gas to go on a thurs. sorry guys, thanks for thinking of me. have a great time.
i have the same noise in my 5 ton. inside the jackshaft there is a large washer i think it's a grease retainer, but anyway ,the thing is loose and makes a rattling noise. nothing to worry about.
