    Assistance in Oklahoma City, OK

I bought 2 small boxes of parts in Oklahoma City and need some help getting them shipped. I think they will fit in 2 large flat rate boxes (3 at the most) so if someone is familiar with those that would be great, or if you get a good rate at your work UPS is fine too. Here's what I was thinking...

    Air Line HELP

That's ok, I just appreciate your good advise. I just got done fixing it, found a line on a deuce that was a little longer so with a "custom" bend it fits perfect! With that out of the way I read up on the manual and tested out the wrecker, everything works! Now I can go lift a bunch of stuff...

    Air Line HELP

Ya I went emergency to emergency, when I went red on my deuce to the yellow (service) on the 5 ton it just made the brake pedal super stiff. Red to red fills the air system on the 5 ton.

    Air Line HELP

Man that worked great! After I figured out which glad hand to use I found the source of my air leak, the drain line that connects the two air tanks under the drivers side step had a big slit in it. Looks like water froze in it, obviously somebody before me forgot to drain the tanks daily! I...

    Air Line HELP

That's a good idea, I never thought of that, this is my first 5-ton so I feel like a noob all over again .

    Air Line HELP

I went out yesterday to try to solve the issue of zero air pressure in my wrecker and I may have found it. On top of the air pack there is a line that goes straight up into a 90 degree fitting and then points toward the passenger side, on that is a large (looks like 1/2") line that has a bend...

    Hemmt wheels hub flip

From the looks of that picture it looks like they made them two different ways, one looks set up for the front and on looks set up for the back by putting the plate on different sides.

    What happened to Reverse

Is the tranny for sure engaging in reverse and it feels like something is binding? My guess is the parking brake assembly or maybe a u-joint. If water got into something and it froze it would for sure brake loose with the torque/gearing of a deuce. And by the way, wind has no effect on inanimate...

    Lockers??

I can only speak for the Ouversons that they are very well built. I used a set of lockouts on my mud truck in my avatar for 1 1/2 years when I had the 16 spline shafts and never had a problem with them. Thats with 725 HP and 57" Rice & Cane tires. The only problem I had (my own fault) was from a...

My Deuce started up - 10 deg

I fired mine up today when it was 3 degrees, fired right up with the stock ether system.

    -12* will the deuce start?

Unless you run a lower grade winter oil I think it's a lot to ask of a motor with 15W-40 in it if it's not plugged in.

    -12* will the deuce start?

And the Metro area was the "warm" spot last night! At 10:00 last night it was already -31 in International Falls! And I was going to haul scrap with my deuce tomorrow...perhaps not.

    Multifuel Oil Flow

So your saying it comes from the block up through the filter then back down through the center bolt with the holes?

    Multifuel Oil Flow

I found the oil flow chart in the TM but it still doesn't answer a question I have: When the oil flows through the oil filters does it go up through the center bolt then into the filters or is it the other way around?

    axle snaped

The u-joint style are better all around, better material and stronger joints.
  18. tie6044

    axle snaped

If you upgrade from the old ball style to the newer u-joint style it will NOT just slide in as a replacement. The seal retainer that presses into the end of the axle tube is different. If you try to put a u-joint shaft in where an old ball style was it will not go in far enough, you have to...
