I installed a new throttle return spring. Not having the cable cinch bolt may be the issue as the entire cable is moving in and out of the firewall. I checked the following TM and without the cinch bolt cant achieve the spec below....

Add a new throttle return spring to the list for this week! I think the old one was tired and not correct.

During the past 2 weeks I’ve worked on sanding and painting my fuel tank mounts and straps as well as sourcing a NOS fuel tank and new in-tank fuel pump. I completed the install today after tapping 5 un-threaded fuel pump mounting holes. The tank also got a NOS fuel sender and a new fuel cap.

Replaced 2 fan belts this morning on my truck, after a nice test drive the low needle on the volt gauge is no longer low. The existing belts were at max adjustment; otherwise, I think a tightening would have got her back in the green.

I’m in Florida, my DEUCE had a tile so registering it want too bad, they just wouldnt let me register it as an antique. Insurance was a bit of a pain, most insurers want the vehicle store in a locked garage or locked storage yard.

Replaced an overly worn passenger seat and greased the throw out Bearing shaft. Also aired up all tires to 50psi.

I am new to trouble shooting the Deuce, but could one of the rubber / plastic fuel supply hoses be collapsed internally causing a restriction?
