It's printed on the side of each generator. We load tested our 804A, 805A, 807A, and MEP 1060. All will do 480. See pics below. You just set output board for 416, then use voltage adjustment knob or button up to 480.
Just FYI if anyone else ever reads this post. We learned something new. All the mil generators that will do 3 ph 416v can be adjusted up to 480v in stock form, no modifications necessary. They actually were made to be adjustable from 395 - 480 in the 416 output board setting.
Most water utilities wire their pump stations, lift stations, well pumps, and booster pumps in 3 ph 480v. That's going to be the predominate use of our generators. Lowering the voltage for in place systems really isn't an option.
The data plate on my 30-60-100 kw sets say 3 ph 416v. Is there a simple solution to get the output voltage to 480v. I'm not an electrical guru, so any assistance appreciated.
Almost everything on board. Only missing prep side canvas frame rails and the two refrigerators. Needs a good pressure washing inside and out to remove a ton of red sand. I look forward to getting this dude ready to roll.
My 916 tach isn't working. Speedo and overspeed light working fine. Is there any source of new replacements for these?
I opened it up and everything looks fine, but for some reason no tach movement.
I was kind of thinking the same thing regarding the speed factor, but I hate to mess up the aesthetics of the 1083 pulling its 1082 trailer! That 8.3 would be earning its pay pulling a loaded van body plus loaded CK.
I'm talking about the US Army Containerized Kitchen (CK) unit. That's its official nomenclature. It's a 20' long expandable ISO container used for battalion level feeding operations mounted on a tactical chassis trailer.
Is anyone pulling one of these with the stock load? If so, what are you pulling it with?
I’m about to get one, and I’m still debating whether to pull it with a M1083 or M934.
Our MK30 required a new windshield, driver side mirror assy., and a Cat idler pulley for the engine. Oh, and a Aero crank handle for the tarp. It had 358 mi and 48 hrs when we picked it up. We have about $1500 in repairs, with most of that the windshield. Looks and runs as new.
If you just got it, the first thing to check is that the remote crank switch near the engine is in the “Normal “ position. Also make sure the emergency stop button is correct.
