Well have you ever wanted to cry?...over a situation (Totally out of ( Your control.)), And maybe just maybe beyond your ability to 'rescue it?)..Well..I..(Actually)..Did!.
Both, Cry and rescue!.
I still can not watch this video without considerable emotion. (Pictures of the "Impossible" ( told...
OHHHH DEEERI DEERI DEERI!..( I HATE to have to tellya'z all), I have a bit of bother.........Finding a decent place...... Seriously guys....to.............Ride my skateboard!! quite a few folk look on in total disbelief!, not least my associates.:naner:
Today, I finally got the power brake cylinder (on my early deuce), into position, Then, Despite the pain of the rotator cuff injury (Which actually lessened as I struggled!), I fitted the near impossible to fit piping.
But determination, (And experience), had them all back on and tight.
I am...
I have progressed well with the truck, (My GMC M135),
I installed a newly manufactured fuel tank.
I could not fit the reconditioned master cylinder or air pack due to arm injury.
But, young bennym45 swung by yesterday, And just like 'road runner' Helped me service the OT65G, (We had a drive out...
These type of trucks have that symptom when the in tank fuel pump is CLOGGED, Or the spacers have dropped off the bottom of the in tank pump.
Or, The filters, especially the one first in line under the front of the truck which traps water.
It (the case), Fills with water and gunge and flow...
Thank you for that constructive and concise in depth report on the progress of the confusing an 'belligerent, (selfish?) and threatening foreign policy of America under the present regime. ( As seen by us, (the rest of the world)),
As dictators (Of a 'Regime!) supposedly Refuse to accept...
Hmm, seems like 'NEVER but never' go 'Complicated', When you can keep it simple.
Thank's for the lesson and warning.
Sorry for your plight, Did you really junk NEW expensive parts?,
I never would have, And would try for any re fund at all, If the parts were incorrect surely, 'Not fit for purpose...
I have tried both, But for me the best and most cost effective way (Cheapest by far) Is the sock filters, I go from one CBC container at height though a water trap filter (Golden rod), then a cartridge changeable sock filter (One down to 1 micron) To a ground level CBC And That has worked fine...
If you have a habbit of setting off from reversing in second gear that can and does mess up the sprag clutch if you do not have an air shift six wheel drive deuce.
Green paint, OD of course. And a star and numbers..And you have a presentable military looking truck for shows and events.
I mean..Anything can be made look a representative of an era vehicle properly done.
I'm not convinced about the better traction with duels ALL round in deep mud or snow.
You only have to see the unbelievably horrendous (NON!) road conditions Russian Single wheeled trucks negotiate in Siberia and the likes.
Twins just fill up between the 'pairs' and act like skids.
No truck...
I like your determination to bring that truck up to spec. And will be following your progress with interest. (And encouragement).
I am close to finishing my GMC M135, And have (Also) Just fitted a new Manufactured fuel tank. The company making it fitted all the old fittings pipes and pump...

So the guys are outside the barn were waiting (Supposedly) to 'help' me load a vehicle I was selling to cut back.
Yep, the low loader arrived right on time.
Wt* Was heard form many of the watchers.
"We thought you were cutting down?"...
