They are 3/8 bolts. Once you tighten that plate down, you might try welding a 5/16 washer on top of the broken bolt then weld a nut to that. The heat cycle should help free it up.
Thanks Wes and Jon. That item on ebay was what I found. I feel like an idiot for not looking in the 809 or 939 parts TMs. I have the 809 TMs right here and low and behold, part numbers. Now I need to track down a couple of those chains (or just make them). Great work to both of you!
Greetings folks and fellow tipper owners. My M51A2 is missing part number 4 in the pic below. Does anyone have a picture of what this pin looks like? Does it have some type of retainer or chain? This pin retains the top of the tailgate for spreading and dumping operations!

Here is some great info on the pioneer tools. In another thread a member said he had 2000 shovels. I offered to help him drop the number to 1998 but he never responded that I know of. Don't recall his name.
I did go through the -34P. I usually use that one first. Now bear with me here, I have most of these in paper but I used the search function of the PDF to help me narrow down my searches. Relay was the term I used in both TMs to find the info I was seeking. Using that search parameter in...

HARNESS ASSEMBLY: STARTER COTNROL RELAY TO STARTER SOLENOID AB,AC EA 1

Ressurecting a thread here. Mark, did you ever resolve this issue? I have an unknown box on the firewall of my dump that might just be this item. I have a new harness so I'm trying to figure this out in advance.
So, I have this 1967 M51A2. I'm going to replace the wiring harness on the truck but I found an unknown item on the firewall. It's a box right on the firewall. It has a decent size cannon plug going into it. Check out this pic.
