    M211 crew cab crusade

Was the NAPA part number the same? I can't get anything to come up on their website with that number. Good find! I will add it to the part spreadsheet this evening.

    M211 crew cab crusade

Let me know the locating ring part numbers when you get them. That would be good to add to the list. Is the FS-926 number for the oval clamps? Can you post a link where you found them? Another good thing to add to the spreadsheet!!

    Early Deuce belt question

I would but I don't have access to that one. Just the G749 spreadsheet. Sorry about that.

    Early Deuce belt question

I don't know of an M135/M211 that uses this. Maybe for the M35?

    Early Deuce belt question

Don't forget to keep me updated on if this is a good number, good part and any new part numbers you discover, so I can keep our parts spreadsheet updated.

    Early Deuce belt question

NAPA 25-28583 is what we have in the spreadsheet. Let me know how it works and if you come up with a better number.

    1957 Utica Bend Restoration

I have not seen those original small taillights function. Do they stay lit up when your lights are on or just come on when brakes are applied? How visible are they at night?

    1957 Utica Bend Restoration

I have found the hood numbers of some of my M135's stamped on the bumper. I know we are talking about different trucks but maybe a possibility.

    1957 Utica Bend Restoration

I have the clear front blackout lights on my M135, but I put amber colored bulbs in them. They are my turn signals. I've not had any issues with it like that. The truck has civilian brake lights on at the moment and I am trying to figure out what to use like you are. The options I have are use...

The internals are identical except for the valve on the back side of the air canister and the inside of the power piston. The G749 airpak does not have the valve on the back of the canister and the power piston from the 5 ton will thread right into where the G749 airpak one goes.

The piston you have that goes in the canister looks exactly like what is in the M54/M809 airpak. I only know this because I pulled one apart to compare to the G749 airpak and to get the power piston. I wonder if you have the 5 ton power piston in there too? If so, you would be all set up to use...

There is an airpak rebuild thread over in the M35 section and they recommend using Super Lube Synthetic Grease during assembly. I will be using that and either air tool oil or hydraulic jack oil in the part SturmTyger mentioned. Someone mentioned that Bendix told them to use Permatex Hydraulic...

Depends on what condition your seals are in I suppose. The internals of your airpak look different than mine. Mine has a big piston looking piece that goes inside the air canister. You can see it in the background upper left of the top picture of my last post. I spoke with Memphis Equipment a...

Napa has quite a few things for these old trucks. Don't forget about our parts list here. http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?137722-G749-Parts-List You can use it for free on the condition that you tell us any part numbers you find that we don't already have. (Just kidding)

I think you have corrosion inside your air canister like this. (I was not able to reuse this canister.) Here is the lip that fits inside the canister. (These are the parts I scrounged to make a good airpak.) Take a dead blow hammer and knock the fire out of the lip of the canister after...
