Hello, Let my friend use my old Honda EM500A for deer camp- he said that it went crazy. Checked the voltage and yup, after about 1 minute it starts putting out 180V then 2 min later goes back to 120V then back to 180V The funny part is his story with his corded electric razor reving like it was...
Well we had another power outage, (its still out right now) during the kiddos birthday party & a packed house with 8 kiddos under 6 & 3 cute chicks cooking for 3 family's bunch of crock pots's toaster ovens and microwave on. I quickly got the 803A running (before the wife could bitch about her...
I have a 6v53 in my 10 yard dump truck, everything you say is correct. Drive it like its a small block chevy! I also have a Yanmar in my john deere tractor- fires up quicker than my Honda civic without pre heat. :)
the 2 stroke Detroit diesel 2-71's have always intrigued me- never found one for sale though, I'm sure they are solid as a rock but I would guess they can wet stack easily as every old timer says to keep those screamin jimmys to the floor. young people tell me GM cannot make a good diesel, until...
Sorta mep related as my friend skipped a great auction that I showed him of 803's and 804's and picked up what he said was a superior unit for his gigantic homes backup. I have never seen this unit until he called me stating it was shutting down so I drove the 300 miles to his place to check it...
My pickup went extreamly smooth- constant contact with the person at the yard who stayed right up to closing as they knew I was driving 1500 miles to get there by 5pm Friday night. Arrived at 4:45PM, Backed right up to the unit- hooked it up, even the huge drag chains fit on the tiny 1/2 ton...
awesome, thanks! Does it charge when the green light appears? My hummed for a few seconds then went quiet when the green light came on. I tried many batteries and a few are known low ones and it still worked its way up to green in under a minute.
Thanks everyone, yup I just put it on one battery like a car (long day at work and wasn't even thinking) I haven't figured out my charger either, what's the red * and blue * mean above the voltage (bottom pict)? Like you I put it on my known low ATV battery and it went right up to green- The...
Got my 24V charger today, it has tiny clamps but managed to get it onto the terminals of the battery on the oil filler side, the unit stays in 12v mode and will not activate 24v ;( Bad unit or do I need to hook it up differently somehow?
No problem leaving it on one battery then swapping it to the other side :) So, if I use a normal 12v auto charger I must in-hook the opposite side battery vs using the 24v charger I can keep it hooked up and if I want to charge both at the same time I need to run leads to both battery's?
im still confused why a normal auto 12V battery charger wont work, my Ohm meter shows my battery's at 12.8V Iget that the leads cross to make 24V after the battery unlike my dodge duel battery setup.
Thanks, Joe
I can here it quite well on my nice desktop speakers, 5-10 second mark. Mine had that same "nailing" on 1 cylinder and it also smoked blue under load. I picked up a new filter/water separator and filled it up with lubro Moly Diesel Purge, fired up the genset for just a minute or two and as soon...
One would think, she still wants me to sell my dream home on 10 acors and move to a tiny lot in the urban jungle. That's what I get for marrying the cute city chick rather than the kinky cammo wearing chick from highschool.
