I had a guy and his brother fly to Dayton and buy a Deuce from me and drove it to Amarillo, TX. The only problem was a broken fan belt and I had included a new set of belts with the truck, along with a bunch of parts...

Well right there's your problem, carp in your oil. If mine had carp in it I'd change it to and switch brands of oil. Carp screws up everything.

I can't imagine the damper shock going up over 100% in price in the last 4 years. Holy cow! That's some serious inflation. I bought one from eTrailers for $60 (4 years ago) to replace one Gimpy loaned me.
I'd certainly want to read that myself. While anything mechanical/electrical can fail I highly doubt that any of the newer trucks are that more reliable than a Deuce.
No, this NOT saying I don't like the newer trucks or putting them down.

I've been a member of the ARRL since becoming an amateur radio operator and I highly recommend membership. They just did an update on the 25 2-man teams they sent to Puerto Rico for 3 weeks to provide communications where needed.

If you buy any of their Hinderrust USE GLOVES. That stuff gets on your fingers and it behaves in a not so nice fashion ad you don't want it in your eyes. They call it surface active which means it spreads out over everything...

I have about 10 cords of wood that no one wants around there because they want me to cut it, split it, deliver it and put it in their fireplace as needed. I'll just let it rot since the lazy @sses don't want it.
