This happened yesterday. The spindle nut is still locked in place, it hasn't moved at all. Low speeds, nobody hurt.

My truck originally came with doors that had those sliding rv windows. I found them to be absolutely terrible. There was no way to comfortably rest your arm on the sill. And when open, the tint is doubled so you can't really see out of the glass side. Which in mine, blocked the side mirror.

I am having trouble believing the Air Force wanted any equipment that came from the USMC. It just seems so unnatural.

The valve you already mentioned is the only shutoff. You can check to see if it is working correctly when the core is out of the way.

It's not too much work to remove the heater core. I recently replaced mine. If you think its clogged up, I would remove it and try running water through it. Also, since it's out you can pressure it up and check for leaks with some soapy water. The older they are, the more prone to leaking. I...
