I have a spare set of 9x20 NDT tires on deuce rims but I'm not sure how I could weigh one. I doubt my poor bathroom scale could handle it. REAL HEAVY is a good assessment, but I was able to swap all 10 of mine without a Soldier B. The above link gives a rough estimate of between 125 and 200...
Seems to me there is a fine line somewhere in here. The difference seems to be those people who ask for help after they've made a genuine effort to solve it themselves, and the other people who don't look for answers but simply ask for help. I myself have asked for and recieved help here lots of...
Welcome to Steel Soldiers! I can't speak for or against Boyce Equipment. I can say based on my limited experience that owning a Deuce is a labor of love. They are great fun, and very useful, but as others have said they require a lot of maintenance. I would advise you to drive one before you...
Hi. I rebuilt my air pack earlier this year and it is working great. You need to determine if you have a long (older style) or short (newer style) pack. Mine is the short pack. I ordered a rebuild kit from member @Monkeyboyarmy and it came with everything I needed. There is also a good write up...
I would think your 4 runner should pull it just fine. Especially for recreational use. I've been itching for an m105 to pull behind my deuce, just so it won't get lonely :ROFLMAO:. Good luck with your search!
Welcome to the site, neighbor. I live close to Huntsville. Don't have any advice on auctions, but plenty of folks on here do. What do you plan to pull your M101 with?
I like the color a lot. Nice job on the painting too. It's your truck, so if it makes you happy that's what counts. I've seen pictures of deuces painted yellow, red, even pink. Good looking truck!
Welcome to Steel Soldiers, from Alabama! You came to the right place for information and advice. There are lots of good folks here who love to talk MVs. Enjoy!
Welcome to the site! That's a fine looking deuce. Even though I wouldn't pick that shade of green it is extremely safe. Might get you an insurance discount :D. Congratulations on your new truck.
Welcome to Steel Soldiers, from Alabama. I'm looking forward to seeing your project. Feel free to ask any questions you might have. I'll bet someone on here can answer them.
Welcome to Steel Soldiers! You have a terrific looking truck there. The advice above to read the TMs (technical manuals) is excellent, because it will give you and your husband a much better understanding of how your truck works. Even if you hire a mechanic to do the work, you won't be going in...
Welcome, from Alabama! You came to the right place to share pics, tell stories, and seek advice. You will find lots of good people here who love all things MV related.
