Been under the weather as well as the actual weather not cooperating so I ordered some more stuff. While browsing for some better prices I came across another supplier after comparison shopping. Machining options are slightly less but easier on the pocket. With a successful venture on fitting...
Looks like a good setup! Mine will be similar but reversed. The one section of the bed will be hinged for storage underneath. Just haven't finalized the layout of the taller section. They do make a great off road RV! Can't wait to get mine out more!

This is the newer app that I used. It is a great way to play with your design and see if it will do what you think it will do. Gives you an estimate for price as well. It will create a .iges file that a distributor can import and work with. The only...
I have gone back and forth on the costs. If I built everything out of wood using a cabinet grade plywood and factored in the time for for cutting, fitting, joining, and finishing it all it wasn't going to be cheap. As well as the weight of it when It was all done. Interestingly enough with the...
Erector Set!!!
This was a dry run to check fitment. Overall I'm happy with taking it from design to reality! When finished it will have sliders out the back and into the center for a table. Blue is a fridge/ freezer, red is the power panel, green is the fender well, two house batteries on the...
Erector Set!!!
I have been working on a design for the interior for the while and finally pulled the trigger to get it started. The first of it got delivered. Amazing all that they packed in the box! A few pieces needed some fine adjustment and the Dewalt blade made beautiful cuts!
Last Friday was Fuel pump Friday!!!! Not a lot of pics... remove alternators... remove brackets... replace pump... reassemble... bleed... crank... run... road test!!!! She lives again!
An update, the delphi pump I installed last year might have given up. I didn't have a meter with me yesterday but while cold removing the green and the pink wire while cold got a click. She tried to start and run with the pedal to the floor, but wasn't happy and wouldn't rev up at all. Filter...
This is what mine looks like. I looked at a few sites but haven't found anything similar. I know I've seen it before. 3/4" wide and probably 7/16" tall.
Nice purchase! I haven't yet done anything about the seals on my rear doors but they are on the list. I'll have to check the profile of them today...
There are several M1010 builds in the Hot Rodding section as well.
It arrived! I also ordered a thru hull fitting so there won't be an exhaust pipe hanging down. Just a little size comparison...I plan on actually mounting it to the right a long the front of the heater box to open up more storage space.
From what I remember on Portal the real issue was with the ones tied to the frame rail. Motor, transmission and transfer case all on rubber mounts with only the transfer case tied to a steel frame, I could see some issues when flexing the truck. This seems to more support the lower part of the...
Thanks! That's my dirty 700r4 sitting on the floor down stairs. Just a few pieces left to get...
Cruzer747... get the 'torque' bar that goes from the transfer case up to the bell housing while you are at it... #14
