    Military Vehicle Camper Insurance

I'm under "former military vehicle" currently but when I asked about RV coverage Hagerty said "no problemo". I haven't finished the build and there's some question as to whether Texas will even register it as an RV (which won't matter, I'll just legally register it elsewhere under my LLC...

AFAIK) blowing hydraulic fluid out of reservoir when raising the cab with Air.

Colt lists the pump rebuild kit and links in his description: And here's the cab latch kit: https://www.amazon.com/LMTV-MTV-CAB-LOCK-SEAL/dp/B08SWMHZM5

Pretty common. Rebuild kit for the pump and might as well do the cab latch...

    LMTV Stock Axles and Lockers

Bruce is good people. Yeah, you can slap them in front and rear. I think most don't do the front because it's a steer axle. There's tons of "locker" threads in there with a lot of good feedback.

    LMTV Stock Axles and Lockers

And that leads to the next question (since he doesn't have a truck yet): Is the LMTV the right platform for you? If you want a truck that can do 70mph, with selectable lockers, maybe a Cummins....why not just buy that truck instead of doing axel swaps and engine swaps, etc, etc, etc. There...

Yeah, I just mic'ed the OEM one I pictured above. It's 7/64 and even that feels pretty thin. They sell the material in a number of sizes (even at HomeDepot). It's a flat surface-to-flat surface seal so it won't take a lot, but 3/16 would be a closer to OEM...

This is what I'd use (1/16" closed cell rubber): EDIT: see below (get thicker) https://www.homedepot.com/p/Rubber-Cal-Closed-Cell-Sponge-Rubber-Neoprene-1-16-in-x-39-in-x-78-in-Black-Foam-Rubber-Sheet-02-128-0062/304363420#overlay

Take the lights off, scrape off the old gaskets, make or purchase new gaskets. reinstall lights. The last ones I found for sale were surplus and laughably about as much as the lights. I never checked with TruckLite. I'd make them. Just need a sheet of thin, pliable rubber that's weather...

I'm sort of surprised that the Dragon suite doesn't have a state/province dropdown select that populates off of country. Yeah, making it from scratch would be a bit of work (just getting all the possibilities plugged in).

    AcuTemp Refrigerator

Yeah, sorta. There's a drain somewhere when it's powered off. I found out over time and eventually cost me a good battery. I never really pursued it but I should. I'll have to ponder on the best way to do a disconnect. I know that I don't want to pull the white inner bezel/trays every time...

    New Guy from NY

Congrats on the truck ! Not many A1R's in the wild. There's only a few of us in here. While a lot of the stuff in the TM's is applicable (especially the newer A1 stuff published in 2005), you'll find next to nothing with regards to the C7. Pics !!!!!

I get that. It was a misunderstanding on my part. I thought you guys were onto Ned for not having a city listed. I was curious why you were not asking the same of Spanky. I'm squared away now. btw: I'm pretty sure it's possible make it a required field in the membership form that...

Ah, disregard then. I was trying hard not to get Spanky in trouble. LOL

    AcuTemp Refrigerator

Yeah, there's a drain on the batteries somewhere. Mine went dead and even killed one battery . I added a way to charge them independently (with an external charger so as not to have to fun the fan 24/7). And next I want to add a disconnect so I can isolate them from the vampiric drain.

I'm aware of the rule My question is why is a new member singled out when a veteran member in the same thread is give a pass? I don't see any explanation of THAT in the forum rules.... I was trying to be subtle bout it. :/

    M1087 Aquired

Oh, I get it. I've had both A0 and A1R. But the A1R literally has no cab suspension. No airbag, no shock, no nothing due to the anticipated armor upgrade. I'm always looking at mods as a result... I considered putting an entire A0 air ride system on my truck, but it's just more stuff to fail.
