I will add that my 3116 got a pretty steady 7mpg even pulling the trailer. My C7 chugs in at just under 5mpg. *no highway gears and I've never worked to tune things up yet

You can find CAT ET readers with the proper software. Shop wisely, the prices are all over the board though.
