Hi
There are many righthand drive vehicles in Hatari including Jeeps, has something to do with the country it was filmed in drives on left. I notice steering wheel positions because my MVs are all right hand drive.
Thanks for bringing up Hatari will get out the DVD this afternoon and watch...
Hi
To help people understand what you're looking for can you post a photo? There are some CCKW parts sources, but I'm on the wrong computer to find them now.
My CMPs have a similar but different size, I went over to leather belting on my trucks some 40 years ago, which has worked very well...
Having restored 3 WWII Canadian Military Pattern trucks all using wooden spacers between the chassis and the body. One thing I would say is that you want a material that will not hold water. Obviously wet wood between layers of steel = rust. I have used composite decking 1x3 on long chassis...
Hi All
Another reason for bumping old thread is when the same or similar question is asked again such as https://www.steelsoldiers.com/threads/wood-strip-bed-isolater.194778/#post-2275496

Hi
To start with when I mounted a modified M35A2 drop side body on my 1941 Canadian Military Pattern it came with two redwood spacers which were drilled to match the rivet heads of an M35. Which of course those holes didn't match my truck, so off to the lumber yard, no redwood but they did...
Suggestion/question - Since the site update the photos posted to the contest have all been the big photo, which are great, but really slow down how long it takes to open this thread for some people. Could this be responsible for the drop in number of submissions and number of people voting...
Hi
General comment on brake restoration on any truck. Making it run and move is fun, being able to make it stop is critical.
When I got in the MV hobby, to many moons ago, finding parts was relatively easier including brake parts, but after you have replace the same part every 5 years you...
Photograph everything, just make it a practice before you start turning screws, bolts or unplugging anything to take several photos. Amazing how many times photos have helped me fix something or more exactly how to put it back together.
Couple of words of caution about photo, make sure you...
Hi
Or if you want steps that are comfortable to walk up and down there are designs in the Army Cookbook. They are meant carry 20 gallon pots of hot food. I'll dig out the design drawings and post.
Cheers Phil
Hi
I really don't have a problem that are related to Military Vehicles. I do have a problem with totally unrelated ads. Example the questionable loan companies that lack the Google corner x that at least allows you to report them as being inappropriate or unrelated.

Hi
Both 135 and 211 s come available fairly regularly in New England, 3 over the last 2 years. I edit a regional Military Vehicle Club Newsletter and have had them listed for months, though nothing currently. It all depends on what condition and price you are looking for.
Send me a...
Hi
Wet stacking is not a diesel only thing. I have an M5 military generator which is WWII 3KVA which any of you who have attended the Weare Rally have probably seen running near the registration tent. That unit will start blowing little carbon balls ot the stack if it is left running at low...
Hi All
Intersting thread, shame that the Ad at the bottom of the page was for Injury.com " Pain/Suffering Calculator

Now I know that Ads help pay for the cost of the Forum, but we are starting to see some...
Hi zalooney
Here is a link to the manuals https://www.steelsoldiers.com/threads/tm-9-2320-212-10-m37-series-operator-manual.99577/
Being apparently new to the truck and maybe new to the wonderful world of MV'S first welcome to the fun. M37 s are not fast but they will go just about anywhere...
Hi All
Need to tie the voting photo of the truck which is how I first saw it to what it looks like now.
Looking at all the great MVs that won during 2019 I'm honored to be in the group.
Cheers Phil
Hi All
Forgot that I needed to tie the truck into the voting photo in with what the truck looks like restored.
Looking at all the great trucks that won over the last year it is an honor to be in the group.
Cheers Phil
Hi All
Well I'm a little behind getting my truck CANADA into the MV of the year 2019 competition but lets start with a large photo of the truck is now.
Enjoyed the Migginsbros posting about the center mounted winch on their Man.
My 1941 Pattern 12 Canadian Military Pattern 3 ton cargo has...
