Pulled the Lift pump, it would hum but not pump. Impeller part was gummed up bad. Let it soak in Extreme Super Clean for a while, scrubbed it and it came out pretty clean (Mine must have been repaired before as it was screwed together) installed it but left the pipe off and turned on the power...
The one I got had been sitting for a few years and my pedal was dead. Checked the master and it had little fluid in it. Topped it off with DOT 5, opened the bleeder next to the air pack until fluid came out. Then bled all the other lines at the wheels. Brakes now work.

Researching things as most people did before buying.
Only drove a few M35's and the newer 5 tons around back in my day (88-92) for familiarization as we had no organic trucks with our unit other than M151's and RSOV's. Rode in the back of them enough though.
