M35a2 air filter element: commercial part #?

I ordered a replacement also, it was a lot smaller than the OEM one that I have. Seller says it flows the same but my EGT temps go up faster now.

That one looks like one that was for same down in the Tidewater area? Congratulations on getting a truck! The truck is in great shape and the fuel tank is real clean.

    Charlie's Deuce Thread

Sorry for the delay. Been a few weeks of sanding and painting. The M756 is White is no more, she is OD Green again! Still a lot of work to do but it's getting there

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I put some air tool oil in the piston area, but will also try the inlet. Looking online, I see a few places have the metal units, are these that much better? $99 per unit.

    Charlie's Deuce Thread

Mindlessly sanded spots on the truck to feather in scratches and such. Also removed the remainder of the graphics goo and stubborn decals. I purchased from Amazon a rubber ball that goes on a drill (Like a big eraser). This quickly removes vinyl decals and residue. The tough ones were the...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I tried wide open, they start and then seem to get stuck in the middle. Manually turning it with the air on, I feel resistance each direction I try to turn it. It's like the air is pushing in from both sides.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

My wiper motors don't do much. Took one apart but nothing much there. The piston goes back and forth but not sure why it doesn't cycle. How much air do they need? (its plastic)

Fuel Tank / Fuel Pump Mounting Issue

That is weird that not every hole is threaded.

    Charlie's Deuce Thread

Did some work Sunday on my driver door window. The window came loose and dropped. I found that the holding nub on the front was rusted to heck and not much left of it. I ground off the rivet and removed it and replaced it with a bolt. Found out quickly you can't have the nut facing in as it hits...

    EGT harness question

I made the mistake on mine by ordering it extra length. Didn't need the extra length so I have it coiled up.

    Charlie's Deuce Thread

Luckily my leak wasn't the Head, it was from a hose joint above that. Tightened the clamps and it stopped. Spent the day changing out a wheel cylinder that I had checked 2 months ago and it was OK then. Started leaking this week. Wasn't too bad this time around to do it.

    Charlie's Deuce Thread

*Haven't*....correction above.... I assume a leak along the head joint is a bad gasket? I have to look more and see if that is indeed what is leaking.

    Charlie's Deuce Thread

Added a digital EGT today. Doesn't take much to get it hot! FDC is bypassed but I have messed with any fuel settings. Looks like I need to back off on the fuel. Right rear of the engine I noticed a drop of green. Seems to be at the head gasket :(

Installed a remote brake tank for my white deuce. Fit right here and is easy to check.
