Mine wasn’t rebuilt. It still has the temp light and as soon as it starts flashing the alarm goes off also. Engine is at normal operating temperatures. I’ve changed the failsafe box twice already with the same symptoms.
Mine does the same thing. Where is the sender located? I’ve probably just over looked it but just can’t seem to find it. Damn buzzer is making me crazy!!
I guess my main question would be if it would be a direct bolt in after swapping the bell housing? The rest of it should be pretty straight forward as far as moving the intake, exhaust etc. It seems like they were built to be a lot more reliable and if I need a new engine for this M52 I’m...
Thank you. I’ll get to working on that. I believe the engine is hydro locked because the oil level seems too high and there was oil coming out of the fuel shut off cover when I opened it.
I’m assuming I have diesel in the oil pan and will find out more when I drain the oil.
Well...I got everything hooked up and NO JOY!!
The motor seems to be seized up. I even took off the radiator and put a socket on it and it doesn’t budge. Anyone got any ideas on how to try and free this up?
I will have to get some decent tires on it before driving it. I will probably go ahead and put some 395s on it assuming I can get it running.
I’m waiting for some filters to come in before I start going through the fuel system and getting everything ready to try and fire it up.
