Removing Mud/Clay Stains from Soft Doors

This may seem strange but I cannot seem to get the mud/clay stains off the soft doors. Was bad and let it sit for a few days. The 4 letter word (work) kept me from it. Tried dish soap and Car wash (different times) with a stiff brush to no avail. Any thoughts? Thanks

    HMMWV Wheel/Tire Decision

emmando22, If I understand correctly the 24 bolt rims just allow a higher air pressure. Correct?

    HMMWV Wheel/Tire Decision

Don't know any different; if the radials ride much better the wife will be pleased :-) Next question 12 or 24 bolt rims? Does one really need 24 bolt rims? Thanks for the input.

    HMMWV Wheel/Tire Decision

Guys, I am going to need new tires on the rear in the near future (depends on how many miles I put on). I currently have the Bias Ply Goodyear Military OZ (8 bolt rim). The first question is should I look at upgrading to the newer Goodyear M/T Radials? Are the following really worth the expense...

    Hydraulic Fan Clutch Replacement...

Well finally go to it. Surprisingly enough the hydro clutch cup came right off. The o ring on the shaft/bolt was bad. The main was OK. The seal is torn so I need to start looking for a replacement. But truck is drivable for now. Thanks for the help!

    Hydraulic Fan Clutch Replacement...

Correct the TDM has stopped working some time ago; I have been just jumpering the unit as I don't drive the HMMWV as much as I would like an it is always mild temps. Thankfully the clutch an solenoid are (were last fall when put away) working. Thanks for the info. I am going to take a...

    Hydraulic Fan Clutch Replacement...

TheHummerguy Thanks! Good to know I don’t have to remove the clutch. I'll double check the fitting, if it's tight on to the main seal. Next thing I have to do is replace the time delay module; have the replacement already.

    Hydraulic Fan Clutch Replacement...

My HMMWV hydraulic fan clutch has developed a major leak. Is there a conversion kit to an electric clutch? Or am I better off just replacing the clutch with the same? Thanks in advance.

How long have you had your HUMVEE

Bough mine March 2003 from a private party. Odometer indicated 666 miles believe I have ~4500 miles on it. I know the feeling I have the bug for adding upgrades; haven't gone too crazy yet

    HMMWV Replacement Batteries

Thanks Guys! I am torn between going cheap (if one could call it that, man batteries have gone up in price) and buying a good set. Anyone use the DaynaBat <sp> brand. I purchased a AGM battery charger/maintainer for my jetski (stand-up) Odyssey batteries. It is an Ctek 7002 Smart Battery...

    HMMWV Replacement Batteries

Looking to see how many HMMWV owners out there are using the 6TL Batteries or some other replacement. I have been using 65 Series for 7years; the fit is OK with some wood blocks. Looking for something a bit better but I don’t want to spend an arm and leg (6TL ~$200/each). Would appreciate your...
