Thanks buddy! At this point it’s just a trial and error.
I had thought about mounting near/above the rear license plate. I’m just not thrilled about having the wire run out the bottom of the tailgate along the underside and up into the cab. Because of the wear and tear. Granted I can cover the...
I installed a Dash Camera & Rear Camera System. I mounted the Rear Camera onto the Rack on the Roof. It works pretty good, but I still need to try it out at night.
If it works out well and I decide to keep it, I’ll replace the existing Plastic Ties with Metal Zipties. I’ll also cover the wire...
I checked all 5 Grounds on the Neg. Buss Bar.
The Five go to:
The Negative Post of the Front Battery
The Neg Buss Bar in the Cab
The Front Utility Port
The Engine Block
The Small Black Wire runs to a harness under the Air Filter Area
All seem good. I did end up finding a small Chuck...
I took another look at the Ground Location notes. I thought this was interesting, Remove the Suppressor. I’ll try it out, why not.
Once my wife gets home I’ll also try turning them on with the hose hitting the windshield.
I’ll report back.
I’m assuming this is that Suppressor Plug...
The whole missing a wire from the Frame to the Firewall really has me intrigued. I will have to check that out. Maybe it’s missing, or damaged. I’ll look at the Diagrams, if I can’t find it I’ll have to come back here and bug you guys!
I know for sure there is a Ground Cable that runs from the...
@cucvrus
Rick I replaced the Wiper Blade Motor and Cleaned and Lubbed all the moving parts that are under the arms. I also cleaned up the Plugs that go into the Motor.
Before and After Photos:
The Nut that goes onto the Motor that attaches the Arm piece to the Back...
@Squibbly I disconnected the Neg. Cable from the Front Battery. I placed the Red Probe of the multimeter onto that cable and the Black Probe onto the Neg Post of the Front Battery. It read 12.61 Volts. I’m assuming that’s because it is hooked up to the Rear Battery.
I kept the Probes hooked up...

I went to the CUCV to move it to work on it. When I placed the key in to Start the usual Dash Lights turned on for half a second and then everything was off. It seems it’s all Off/Dead. I tried jumping it but still nothing turned over or no light lit up. I also checked...
I’ll watch this Video and Test things.
The Negative Cable is Not attached to the infamous Power Inverter we dealt with before. Still, I’ll double check it. I’ll even wrap the end with a piece of tape.
But first I’ll check the Radio Fuse!!
Thank you!
@Squibbly @Keith_J
This is unreal! I thought this issue was Over. The CUCV is clicking and struggling to start when I have left it overnight. It does seem to Start Fine if I drive it around a bit.
I tested both Batteries and Alternators both with the vehicle Off and with it Running.
Tests...
I just ordered a Cheap Dash and Rear Camera Combo via Amazon. Let’s see how it works out. It’s Low Risk since they have a Great Return policy. I’ll report back.
Thank you for the input my peeps!! :)

After getting my windows tinted in my M1009, it’s been difficult to see out the rear window when backing up, in particular at night.
Has anyone installed a Back Up Camera for their CUCV? I know they make Dash Cam/Back Up Cam Combos. That’s a thought.

@Joey7 If I can help in any way I am happy to do so. It can be a bit challenging at times, depending how skilled you are. It’s also rewarding once you figure it out.
Let us know how we can further help. I learn best via Videos, Pics and Diagrams. Lots of those resources around.

Final? Update:
I put another Rebuilt Alternator (from Hillbilly Wizard) In and things are still looking good Voltage wise: from both Batteries and from both Alternators. That double confirms that the First Rebuilt Alternator was bad.
Process of elimination at work!!
Thanks again!

I disconnected the 2 Gauge Red Positive Cable (the other end goes to the Buss Bars in the Cab) from the 24V Buss Bar and connected it to the Rear Battery Neg Post. *I left the Neg Cable from the Rear (in the Cab) Buss Bar where it is, which is attached to the Ground...
@Keith_J this is what is currently installed:
On a side note, will this Circuit Breaker be ok?

@Keith_J
Nice! I already have a Red Wire on the Rear Battery Neg Post running to the Black Diamond Shaped Solenoid. I’ll add another one to that same post and run it back to the Rear Pos Buss Bar.
I have 8 Gauge Wire I could add a 12 Gauge Fusible Link. Or 6 Gauge Wire I could add a 10 Gauge...
@Keith_J
I just want double check something. Could I just keep the Neg. Black Cable running from the Front set of Buss Bars back to the Rear set of Buss Bars as is? Then keep the Positive Red Wire plugged into the Rear Buss Bar and attach the other Red End up to the Neg. Post of the Rear...
