Spare tires usually have a solid bolt on the banjo so water dosnt get in there. Maybe your spare has the banjo bolt.

There are relays and a fuse in the vim. You can find pinouts online just search allison wtec2 wiring diagram.

I bet with a little rigging you could make the lmtv winch do that.

Cat can log into the ecm to make changes to match the speedo to the hs gears.

The lmtv winch can pull front or back you do have to set the cable up in the direction you want to pull though.

I had read somewhere about an allison issue with fluid coming out the vent in cold weather. But I would still check the trans fluid level.

Output speed sensor on bottom of trans. Held on by one bolt. Over the counter allison part.

I have had a lot of lmtvs. Most first gen trucks. Some trucks are a lot peppier than others. If you can find my truck pull vid from a few years ago and you can watch and hear my turbo spool right up. If yours dosnt spool right up then I believe your engine needs to be tuned up by cat. Or you...

I went to the local truck pull after the regear. They had 17k of concrete on the sled it pulled it easy like before with the original gearing. They just ran out of time at the event and didnt get up to the heavier weights that they usually do.
