Possible source for dual use M151 parts

Has anyone verified the info? I saw one person claimed it out of the blue, and in all the years M151s have been around, no one else has discovered it

    M211/M135 Towing

I think the M989A1 would be slightly overtaxing for the the M211, probably even the M35A2. They are heavy trailers.

    M123

Cool truck. Never seen one with paperclips on the front.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

The USMC upgraded their M809 series fleet to 1400 from the 1100s. I have one of those trucks and I did not take it for a long ride before I stripped it down, but it wasn't bad on the 5 mile test runs I did. M813RC has more experience with them then I do.

M915 series, pictures of your toys

Finally found a photo. Had the M915 since around 1995ish and did a frame off restoration on it and it entered its first show in 1999 at the MVPA Convention in Tobyhanna. It does have the 16 Speed Cat and I do not see what everyone dislikes about it. Took this photo in 2017 while heading to...

    Dead Pilot's M36a2 Build

Converting Bench Seat to a Jump Seat

Very nice work. I don't think I could make that work though because my truck has the winch controls in that spot. Here is Jericho's build. Great work, however it is for an M939 series trucks https://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?168131-Air-ride-seats-in-M-931-A2&highlight=

    Mack RD822sx

Very cool. Did the Mack Museum ever show any interest in buying the truck from you because of its unique history?

    5 ton Sprag Switch

Going through my photos from my tear down on my M813. Switch goes in the line on the bottom (closest to the ground) correct?

    Deuce Hood Lift Kit Availability

Any plans for an M35A3 or M813 kit still?

    Looking good :grd:

    M151a2

Nice looking jeep, any photos of your dataplate? The vent on the cowl is standard on any vehicles that have had a heater added. Not an uncommon mod. The marker lights on the side of the body were usually added up by the turn signal, I have not seen any in that spot.

M915 series, pictures of your toys

That is what I was afraid of. I looked into an M915A2 but did not think it could mange the speed the M915 w/7155 Cat managed. Any idea if the M915A4s are any better? Do those still have the HT740 (4 speed?) or do they have the Allison 7 Speed?

Converting Bench Seat to a Jump Seat

Any idea who? I'd love to do that

    5 ton Sprag Switch

Allows you to run locking front hubs/desplined front hubs, more control over the Sprag, and other reasons

RhinoTAC fully armored 5 ton Prototype

Any idea where their components like their ISO beds and other parts went? Recovry4x4's other photos show they had quite a few trucks they were going to convert before the contract flopped, I wonder where they went.

RhinoTAC fully armored 5 ton Prototype

Too bad the company flopped. Nice truck. I wonder where they got their ISO beds.

Converting Bench Seat to a Jump Seat

Sounds like a nice idea, but this would be on an M813 which has a narrower cab then your truck as you know. I don't think it would fit
