I took HEMMT wheels that had the centers water jet cut from them (that a guy on this site was selling a while back) then I rebored the centers to make them concentric...then fabricated everything else.
Custom V100 Wheels and Parts (pics)
I posted this in the tanks and APC category by mistake
Anyway, this is my latest creation...Custom wheels for my upcoming V100 armored vehicle project. Stainless steel, machining and lots of polishing :D
Yeah, we knew they were fixable. But if you think that's a waste, just wait till you see what we've got coming to a place called "smithereens" this fall
Me either, but I did have a trooper call me and tell me my black M114 was too loudrofl
Evidently I had romped down on it kinda hard when I went through town after a recent parade :D
I definitely found that out the hard way. I tossed a stick toward them and one came down like some kind of a guided missle...hit me right on the collar bone :D
Anyway, nothing like 5-1/2 lbs of afternoon fun :p
Here is a video of the test run out here at the shop. The last part was taken at the Amphtheatre, and everything else was taken here on our property
Robert I dont believe you are the one doing all that fab work:shock: Tell you what...if you were to come down here and do mine the same way, I will gladly admit I was wrong:D
