NEIOWA , why are you using GL. ???? if you are a fire deparment , you should be in the loop BEFORE this stuff goes to GL.

there was one here in san diego for a while .. it belonged to a friend of mine and i got to play with it ... lots of fun .. and it will float ... the guy that bought it , had it painted and the rims chromed , he would take people out onto the bay !!

well , how much is the truck??? if the price is reasionable then the repairs could be worth it ..
just rember , that these trucks will need repairs most are over 25 years old and will need some ( or a lot !! ) of tlc. seals on the transmission , transfercase , axels , input shafts , motor...
it will keep the switch from burning up .. the load will go threw the relay .. not the switch ...

the relay will take much more abuse than a switch ..
remove all of the locked forums .. all for sale ,trade
or open them back up ....... the newer forum is not very helpfull ...
but the older ones are a waste of space .
i towed 2 , 5 ton trucks with my m35a2 only a couple of miles on a dirt road .. and had almost the same problems .. wouldnt turn for anything without the wheels cramping to the left .. the right turns seemed to go alright .. but the left turns sucked .. only one of the turcks turned o.k. and it...
no kidding !! 5.000 ?!?!?!?! way too much for that truck ... 1.200 max., and only because it still runs. but a parts truck ???? it could be a good runner with a lot of tlc ...
i have a 1967 m35a2 with the elect. horn on the outside on the passanger side below the headlight ... my 1970 m50 and it has the airhorn on the passanger side inside fenderwell
i guess it just matters when it was rebuilt / upgraded
i have used several 5 ton tops on my trucks , including the fitted ones .. i also have a correct top for my m35 but the price of the 5 tons are better and if they get ruined im not as pissed off .
the price seems a little high ..... but if it comes with all the side boards and top bows ...
