I have both. In my opinion, the 4 speed drivability is greatly improved over the 3, for on road use anyway. Gets up and goes much faster off the block in addition to the higher top speed and lower RPMs.

Picked up two 2010 GEP's the last time I was there.

Head over to Southern Metals and pick out a whole new 6.5 4speed drivetrain for $2500 in case it does blow.

I don't know I'd go hard at first. I've had two issues with GP and they have been professional and courteous in their dealings with me. And I am by no means a high volume customer. You can always get aggressive if they aren't responsive. MHO

I think they were refitted by either Black Dog, as RWH said earlier or by Midwest, who were doing some as well. I know Mike at Big Dog only uses CARC when he paints them. Not sure about MW.

Yours had the "SPINDLES" sticker on it so it should have the proper spindle lock washers on the hubs already. I would still check to be sure that the tabs are bent into the spaces sufficiently to be safe. Trust, but verify.

Saw one, an 1123 on GP not too long ago advertised as a 2008 because that was the date on the new (reset) dataplate. The serial number put it squarely in the 1998-99 range. Happens all the time.

I signed no hold harmless or any form of disclaimer when purchasing my 1123. In fact it came with a clear GA title to IronPlanet, signed over to me.

If I remember correctly there are some sensor and maybe, but I'm not sure, TISS & TOSS wiring issues with mixing the two harnesses. I think the speed sensor wiring is in the body harness of an ECV and in the engine harness of a non-turbo. Nothing that can't be overcome. But man, I would hate to...

I use the carc 383 sub from armytankguy. Have not used the Behr. The rattlecans from him are extremely close to the original green. Sprayed half a new radio deck as a test and you could barely tell original from substitute.

Tcm connection could be loose also. Try taking off the Canon plug and putting it back.
