Here's a follow-on question for yah: mine leaks and I can't remove it from the truck...Due to some idiot private using red loctite on it...
Any ideas? Can I even take the leveler apart or is there a way to unbolt the entire mounting bracket?
I've got a pair of tool bags I keep in my truck. One is hand tools and the other is air tools and a hose with gladhand on one end chuck on the other.
Total bill from harbor freight was 85 bucks. Now the air tools can't break lugs loose, but it's a crap load faster once they are broken loose to...
You need the LMTV service kit. MTV is the 3 axel beast, so save a few pennies and just get the LMTV one. I bought the service kit from fleabay and it had everything I needed for my truck.
Regarding fluids, rural king as low cost ATF that meets spec for the truck. Oil too. If your running red...
Oh I like the light idea. Doing this on pass side, as my Cb antenna is on driver's side.

Not a problem, all good. New air dryer was waiting at home...

Needed the truck for work this morning. Warmed up for 20 minutes (17 deg morning) went to drive off, won't go. Rear passenger side lower shoe is stuck.
I drain each night after running, close the tanks off, no major leaks, brakes work great.
I don't have access to a heated shop to warm the...
At this point, I'd be tempted to say call a congressmen or the like. A single call from someone high up will usually light a fire under their butt and get lost paperwork found FAST.
I didn't have the clips on mine so I just fold the seats DOWN flush with the sides when I need the room. Makes opening the side panels a pain, but eh, it's free.
Yeah, same. Once the bill of sale arrived, my local office was more then happy to do it. Is it legal for a stl member to do it for you? I can hand deliver it to my local iffice if so.
Which office was it? So we can avoid this shenanigans.
I need to get mine inspected soon, starting to have...
