i have several issues with my wiring in my truck and i dont want to replace the entire harnesses just yet. im looking for a supplier of packard stuff besides ebay. i would like to get a nice assortment of the correct peices to repair my damaged or missing connectors. any leeds??
even though that daniel charecter is not the best at being a business man, i would deffinetly buy the boots he has now. the new verison of his boots are made of neoprene. i had a set of the new ones and a set of the old rubber ones that were never installed on a truck. after doing a comparison i...
well, i came up empty handed today. i did find something noteable though. the axleshaft u-joint is an oddball. take very good care of yours. they only cost $150 EACH to replace if you destroy them. the guy at the place i deal with is what i would call an driveline dictionary, and even he said he...
the drive shafts have 1410 series joints in them, although i think the mid shaft fron trans to transfer case is different. the 1410 series joints are spicer part number 5-160X.
i have to get replacement axleshaft universal joints this afternoon fromt he driveshaft place i deal with, so hopefully...
i found mine to be smashed in when i got my truck. i redid it and plumbed it up behind the crossmember since i use my truck mostly in the woods. not to change the subject, but i also had a problem with the fitting on my injector pump where the feed line comes to it on the bottom. it was hitting...
i dont think it was too much air, i routinely run 70 psi in my front NDT's to make my truck easier to steer. even on the hottest days i havent had a problem
i really dont have a problem going through a surplus dealer, im just trying to find other options and cheaper options. when you have to replace 10 seals at $12+ it adds up fast. i prolly will just end up ordering them from a dealer, but my thing is, they have to get them from somebody and so...
im wondering if a company that deals with truck drivetrain could help. i have one near me that i am going to go see monday. they are called transaxle. if i take them the model number of the axle itself maybe they could find somthing. i know that the hub seals on the spindle are available...
well, a while back i got all retarted and swamped my M35. on the ride home that morning i deffinatley killed one set of rear wheel bearings. this was back in early february. the truck has been sitting since then and i recently decided to fix it up and make it road worthy again. i planned on just...
sorry guys, i should have put early deuce in the heading. i dont have any specifics right as of yet. the trucks in question are just stuff i have eyed up from a far while driving around on my way here or there. i'll stop and check into them more the next time i drive past one of them.
is there alot of people looking for these trucks, or parts for them? there is alot of them just lying around on the farms near me. many different variations too, dump trucks, cargo bodies, and i even seen one with a giant snow plow on it.
if it is worth it for anyone on here i could go about...
hey mark, im not sure how long they are, but the last time i was at fazzio's they had a whole bunch of shocks in a box in the military room. they were verry short, deffinatley military, and too small to be for suspension on a vehicle. maybe worth checkin out
how much difference in speed is there between an 813 and an m54 as far as take off and crusing is concerned?? i always wondered the difference between the multifuel and the cummins in this department
it comes with the can, he told me to make him an offer. im not exactly sure what to throw him. i havee seen rebuilts at surplus places for 5 grand, or seen take outs for $400 with no gaurantee. this guy doesnt seem to really know what it is and i may be able to get it for a song. he doesnt even...
