im thinnking about buyin this multifuel for a spare, but the guy doesnt know what it came out of, im trying to figure out horsepower and if it came out of a deuce or a five ton. here is the numbers he gave me

aren the bearings in the back partially oil bathed?? everytime i have taken any 2.5 ton rears apart the bearings had no grease in them, they were just oily

does anyone know if the M37 cab is the same as the M35 cab?
folks i know that were purchasing the M37s in the 70's, 80's, and early 90's from fort dix tell me they are, but i have also heard from...
sometimes you can tell by the tie rod. if it has 1 clamp on each end it is supposed to be a u-joint style if it has 2 clamps on each end it is supposed to be the ball type axles. i have seen rebuilt units come through with the double clamps and u-joints though
heres one more thing that may or may not mean anything. now, i coldnt beleive this when it happened. one day i went to rip out a stump for a neighbor. i used 2 inch rope to pull on it. the rope is the same stuff i use to pull my mud trucks out of holes cause its stretchy and doesnt rip trucks...
i dont beleive it has been converted over. although now that i know what a converted pump looks like i will have to check mine. i dont beleive it has been converted due to the fact that in the middle of summer i have run a half tank of gasoline and half diesel, cut with 5 quarts of new motor...
i dont know why, but my truck seems to be faster than other deuces. i know several guys that have them around me and i can smoke them with mine...., well i shouldnt say that, if we were racing a one mile drag race i would be the winner.
the truck is a 1971 M35A2 w/w. it has a 134 horse mutifuel...

I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE HAS ANY INFORMATION ON REMOVING THE GOVENOR ON A CUMMINS NHC 250. MY FRIEND JUST PICKED UP A SWEET 5 TON AND ITS GREAT EXCEPT IT WILL REV TO ONLY 225O RPMS AND THEN JUST FALL FLAT ON ITS FACE. ITS NOT A BIG DEAL, BUT HAVING A LITTLE BIT EXTRA WOULD MAKE IT MUCH MORE...
