thats why i carry a few different size plugs. if i pop a brake line, or a wheel cyl. i just unscrew it from the junction block and put in a plug, and do what i want and fix it right later.
here's a simple. i glued a piece of 3" pvc pipe, about 3" high ,to a small piece of plywood,6"x8". i keep it on the passenger seat, and at times on the floor if i have pass. it don't move around and it will take coffee cups, soda cans ,or naughty stuff.
i'd look for some moving company or some gravel place ,or evev some junk yard. most of them have scales. but driving without it reg. you might get nabbed and it will be towed, and expensive. the only way yuo can drive it is with a repair plate or dealer plate ,if you can pay someone to get it to...
don't even think of using pressure to get it out of the tank. if you rupture the tank an oil spill will go into the hundred thousand dollars and you're homeowners ins will say sorry pal !!!!!!!
yeh, that brings up another question. they say the flasher should be grounded , but the new ones i got are plastic or something, so the only thing you can ground is the wire, right?????
i had a good one this weekend. flashers only worked on first position and not on service . you'd think ,the switch ,right. tried two seperate switches and no flashers on serv. changed flasher and bingo. they work like they should. that is hard to explain.i still don't get it.
hey good for you. yep, gonna take the little nephew and the mrs. . the little guy likes the beast as much as i do.. gonna do a trucks and touch next sun in E.B. you guys know what date the rochester fair is gonna be??keep in touch.
think i might do the parade in brockton mon. to help them guys out . any one else interested? maybe just do the bridgewater one, ain't made up my mind yet. brockton one is at 10:00. the bridge. is at 10:30
yep them fans are great. i got one on each side, mostly for the windshields in the winter, but they are a little comforting when it's 90 degrees out in a parade. i put a 1x8 agross the top of the roof and mounted them to it, along with my stereo. looks like it mbelongs there.
i don't understand why no one will insure( ex )military vehicles. they are just a truck .(a used truck.) i don't know any ins. co. that insures you for people in the back ,even in parades. it is a big no-no. but i do it anyway. i pay $1500 a yr for ins. and $450 a yr for the plates. good ole ma.
it all depends on the driver. i got them big tires on my pickup for running the beach and they stink in wet weather, and are useless in the snow. it all depends on the driver . " A MAN HAS GOT TO KNOW HIS LIMITATIONS"
