    Crane, Truck Mounted-Up for bid

Very nice, like the way the outriggers are mounted up high. Extension? It probably has a 24 ft reach as is, at least. Bet it will go for several thousand....

    Elbow grease does wonders

Joel, this image should answer your question, it's part of the pto drive line, a "change of direction" gear box, like a transfer case. I did not use my biodiesel, just dish soap and water after wirebrushing. :-)

Yes Im Posting ANOTHER Filter Thread!!

That would be the 25 amp regulator. I don't have the 60 amp alternator (with built-in regulator) upgrade. The copper tubing next to it is the Airpak vent and a little further to the right is the pressurized axle housing control valves and vent.

    Fuel heated heater controls

Thank you so much, Mark, PM sent. Hope you got the oil change business taken care of. I got a taste of Combat Engineering back in '69, one of my AIT's, spent some time at Ft Leonard Wood, MO. :-)

Cut open coolant filter from the deuce

Dave, I got my third filter today after your reminder. :-) $13.00 at Napa here for the 4070. I have not cut them open in the past, but will do this one, should be a winner with some 10,000 miles on it.

    Fuel heated heater controls

Thanks Marti, good information. My 8x8 does not have the conventional coolant heated heater, but is set up for the fuel burning systems, both for the coolant heating, and with ducts for keeping the crew warm. The exhaust is used to heat the oil pan with the "Arctic kit", which means adding a...

    Vented glad hand cover

The vented one is only used/needed on the line that doesn't have the ball valve, per image above.

    Vented glad hand cover

Okay, so the vented dummy coupling is only used on the "Service" line. The check valves (#20 in drawing) may leak and build pressure in the line, causing brakes not to be released was it not for the breather. Alternately, no dummy coupling at all would work, of course, leaving line open.

    Fuel Fill Line

It will work, Gary, but keep the percentage to about 20 or so, otherwise you may have a bit of trouble starting the engine in the morning. It gets kind of cool at nights out there. :-) Also, the jugs or cubies, are only 4.6 gallons (35 lb), so a price adjust may be in order. Here is one...

Cut open coolant filter from the deuce

Interesting, thanks for the reminder, I need to change mine too, perhaps this week. It's a bypass filter in a loop like the heater.
