It's not in Washington but in Oregon. It's right along the coast in the northwestern part of Oregon. Which reminds me, I need to get down there and go to that museum again...it's been way too long.

I had the same issue w/my first deuce. It was recommended to fill it with John Deere Cornhead grease from a local tractor shop

Why is it illegal? Plain and simple, because it is. I don't mean to be smart alec but laws are laws and I definately would not want to jeopardize our hobby by knowingly doing something illegal. Sorry, probably not what you wanted to here but there it is. Just as it has been said, try and find...

Total craziness, here last year at the same time winched FT Lewis deuces were going for 1400-1700 in great condition.

Wow, parts trucks went for that much? I got two great running trucks w/tons of spoils for the same price:roll: I guess this either shows the tide of the availability of these trucks.

Ok, what did those Fort Lewis deuce parts trucks go for? I thought about bidding on them but knew I'd have to tow them home and didn't want to bother with them. FYI, the one truck I looked at (dont remember which one) had all the fluids drained out of it including axles, fuel tanks, antifreeze...
