Opinion of Continental turbo diesel engines in M35A2?

My junk has the White version too. Seems to run fine, maybe a bit under powered, but I think it's because of the rather large RPM split between gears. Remember, these are 1960 technology. Compare them to most other diesel engines from that timeframe and these are Cadilacs!

Replacement seat covers and foam options.

Here's a pic of the seat color. The drivers bottom is the one that was on the truck when I got it. All the other covers were canvas and were rotted from the sun and sitting for 8 years. The drivers bottom was and still is not faded, pliable and no rips. I love the smell of canvas, and it...

Replacement seat covers and foam options.

I got mine from Addirondak Dodge. Green vinyl kind. I had to put the eyes in the passenger side bottom and back. Went to the local auto upholstery shop and got some firm 2" foam. Nice and comfy on the backside now. I think I like the vinyl better than the canvas, when it rains, or water spills...

    Deuce Speedometer going nuts

My speedo was kind of doing the same thing...kinda. It would work OK, then lose speed, then all of a sudden, pop to 60 or so MPH and go back to "normal". I greased it and it is OK now.

    Got Some Technical Difficulty ??s

Well, on my junk, the wiper arms just have a kind of tapered hole and the nut unscrews from the wiper motor arm. Looks like it's kind of wedged onto the shaft with the nut. The joints that I have taken the zerk fitting out of have been 1/8 pipe and 1/16 pipe thread. Hope this helps.

Where can I find heater intake scoop? + PTO Handle lock

No Loco pistons, those engines have gone the way of the Dodo. We don't see them any more. Wanna see an injector? I checked at Saturn for the scoop, none listed. I'll try AVT and see if Norm has some. That would be great if you could get the dimensions, Thanks!
