    Camp Withycombe Deuce Recovery Trip

Yes, but I did drive around Camp Withybcome circling buildings...going straight...circling more buildings. I did get some looks from the soldiers there. They probably just thought oh great some old guy cruising Withycombe in an old deuce reminescing the old days:-D

    Camp Withycombe Deuce Recovery Trip

It was outstanding of the support I got. I think those young guardsmen where more suprised that a "prehistoric truck" (as they called it) could start and run as beautiful as it did. No joke though this truck ran like a new truck, it just doesn't look new :-P But that will change soon enough with...

    Camp Withycombe Deuce Recovery Trip

I think everyone's favorite part was the 100 MPH tape holding on the headlights. I was informally inducted into the motorpool w/this craftiness of field expidited project. The tape held up through all the bouncing and jarring from the trip as well as through the numerous rain storms. Good...

Oops sorry AaronW you were on standby. In fact when I was passing thru Napavine I thought it would be a good idea to do a deuce horn driveby but my wife told me my son had a 6:10 swimming lesson in Hoquiam. Made it, but 5 mins late:-D Oh what a busy day it was, busy day indeed. Now it's all...

    Jump Starting a Deuce

You know that is the best idea. Low cost and very much a possibility. No need to spend money, part on a hill, or worry about blowing my electronics up on the truck. I have a medium towbar already to good to go in the back of the Dodge. Thanks.

    Jump Starting a Deuce

I'll check the battery cells on pickup to make sure they aren't dry. Is there anything that can be added to "re-energize" the battery?

    Jump Starting a Deuce

Ok, at the recovery point the truck will be jumped by the ANG. However, my plans are not to turn the truck off for the 3-4 hour drive home. However, if for some reason the truck needed to be turned off, I just wanted to know if it was possible to jump the truck w/my 12v truck in a pinch. The...

    Jump Starting a Deuce

The deuce comes with the old two prong slave terminals. I read somewhere where a guy would put screw drivers into the (-) and (+) and use those as a jumper cable attachement without problems. I'm thinking its the same basic principle.
