Very little will drain "forward" since the exit opening of the oil cooler is on top.
The oil pump output is 22gpm and the filters are connected in parallel for a max capacity of 26 gpm.
If your data plates have plain lettering, no diagrams, they can probably be reprinted by your local screen printer. Bring the blank (flip them over?) plates and the informatrion to be printed.
My xm757 has several plates that are completely blank and I'll be trying to do my own screenprinting to...
Here is another image showing Mike's Unimog with a deuce, which reminds me, I have to get you (Mike) the pictures from Eureka...
What is the payload capacity of the 1300L?
Among other things, I'm now working on the 5th wheel installation on the XM757. The set I have came from an M52A2 and the approach ramp is shorter than the one normally used on my truck.
Question, do the "tips" of the 5th wheel have to be supported for any reason? They rested on the cross...
RE: installing generator on M35A2
Looks good Patrick.
You may want to consider folding the edges (folding as in bending down) of the plate for extra rigidity.
Freezing rain here this morning as well.....
RE: Yahooo.. Had a good time in FL..
Great story Kenny! Perhaps next year or may later this year, if Mike is willing to do it again sooner, I'll be bringing the old cranetruck.
My daughter is planning a longer visit to Denmark after HS graduation and that will take a bite out of the budget, for...
RE: M211 therostat orientation
The caged part is the "temperature sensor" and must be aimed at the engine. The solid part is the valve which moves in and out to adjust the flow of coolant and is in the housing on the radiator side.
Comparing colors on the computer screen can be misleading, here is Jeff's M548 with only a few clicks on the green and it matches my Aervoe 24084 a lot better. Who knows what it looks like on your screen. :-)
It's best to show samples together in one image when comparing colors.
Looking at the images above. I see a lot of brown, which is the result I don't want for my XM757. The sideview of siren above is the "right" look as I see it.
My sample color patches below show the 24084 (Aervoe) being much greener than the Gillespie 24087, which is clearly brownish. The Aervoe...
Just for the H of it, I called back and asked for more pricing info, here are today's prices:
1 gallon of 529F-1-24084 (Randolph Products #): $168.30
4 gallons @ $93.77/gal: $375.08
Contact info: Randolph Products 413-592-4191 ("Kim")
Jeff, if I had the money for it, I'd do it, but it's out...
Jeff, I agree with you, but $300 for two gallons delivered is a bit hard to swallow, in comparison, I'm only asking $350 for my extra 20,000 lb winch!
I'll probably need 3 gallons all told before I get finished with the frame, wheels and all, which will receive the same color.
Well, with the weather getting warmer and the aluminum primer I received from Cabell, I'm getting ready for the painting.
Got a quote from Randolph Products for the 24084 yesterday.....$129.00/gallon plus $40 for shipping! As you can imagine, I'm still looking for a source.
Meanwhile the...
It's getting warmer here and time to switch to outdoors work.
Drilled/punched holes for front marker and turn signal lights today. With all the aluminum and steel members with lightening holes it's like working on an aircraft, love it!
