I dunno why they say to do it that way. I did mine on the engine. Had no problems. Maybe it's to reduce the risk of messing up the canister seal rings. I know if the oil filter cans turn when installing, you ruin the gaskets.

Any lighted plate holder should work, just replace the light with a bulb for the tail light running or b/o run bulb.

Do you know what kind of seat it is...bostrom, glidealator... if you know who made it, you can go to a local truck dealer..Kenworth, Peterbilt, Navistar and order it. BTW, it will be new and have a warranty.

The S-97 that came with my deuce was from the El Toro DRMO. It had NO info about the truck. When I got it at auction from a local school district that it was given to, it also came with a water buffalo..again no info on the S-97 about the buffalo. There was no VIN, year, model, wt, nothing...

NOpe, time to re-build the air pak. Saturn surplus has the kits. Some of the paper gaskets are hard, soak yhem in HOT water. Takes about 1-1 1/2 hours to do, just did mind, pretty easy., You can still drive it, byt I wouldn't reccomend it, you'll go through a master cytl. full of fluid real...

Mine wouldn't start, turned out to be the shut off mechanizim in the pump. It was stuck. Take the rectangle shaped cover with 2 screws that the shut down cable goes to on the outboard side of the pump off and push the lever in there all the wav back.. or front, I forget, and see if it will...
