    Inspection GL Fort Riley Kansas.....

Thank goodness for the lack of bucket loaders up here. I have not heard of any complaints of damaged trucks at FT Lewis:-) It pays not to have all those fancy little tractors running around:-)

    Deuce w/winch for sale

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Deuce w/winch for sale Ah, hold onto both. You'll reget it if you sell!! Besides, if your wife gets the bug, you'll have one for her. Not kidding, my wife was pretty fired up when I brought my deuce home. 4 weeks later I jokingly said I was going to get her a deuce for her...

    Inspection GL Fort Riley Kansas.....

Uh, besides the obvious...GAUGES. I would definately concentrate on getting a set of gauges. I myself did not see anything really missing. Then again, can't check fluids by the photos. Can't check brakes from the photos. Another good sign is the fact the front bumper shackles are still there...

RE: Re: RE: more Hmm, definately a must. I tried taking along a set of Motorola Talkabouts, yah they didn't work for me. There was just a little bit too much rumble from the front end:-)

    Deuce Garwood Winch drip

I was going to go cheap on this project. However, if I ever need my winch I want her to be good to go. I just ordered the PTO and winch gasket sets last night thru OD. I ended up having to take her apart anyways mostly due to curiosity of what garbage may lie in her. Unbelieveable how much...

Well, I was told not to put a load on the tranny when doing kerosene but to let it idle for 30 minutes or so.

Yes it is true. FT Lewis GL is loosing their warehouse but luckily not their yard. He said everything is going to be shipped to Oklahoma come early 2009. He said he is anticipating some angry phone calls but the gov't wants their building back and theres nothing GL can do about it. The contract...

    Deuce Garwood Winch drip

I wanted to test out the seals to see if any needed to replaced before mounting her up. I filled both compartments up on my Garwood 10,000 # winch. It sat on the bench overnight. When I went out I noticed a small wet spot on the Drive side of the winch. It was just under the drum. I noticed a...

    tow bar

I would advise if the truck is a runner/driver that you tow your Ford home. The Laws of Newton are going to be applied. The deuce weighs more and will want to continue on its path esp w/something of a much lighter weight. So getting going will probably not be a problem. However, braking and...
