Yah, Lonny is a great guy. He's really down to earth and seems he'll do anything to help. The DRMO guys are great too. Too bad EUC's aren't done right on sight in coordination w/the base. That would probably be too efficient and the boys down south would be out of a job.
I'm sure glad they...
Hello, does anyone know where I can get the "black stretchy rubber tie down ropes" for the cargo tarp? Bulk lengths would be great. I don't want to use bungie cords
Also, can anyone buy the CARC paint at Sherwin-Williams? Any regs against selling to individuals?
Thanks everyone for your input. I have one more question. Where is the filler hole? It is a Dana 3053 A. The hole I used to check the fluid was approx 8 inches up from the bottom w/a 1/2" drive plug hole on the driver side of the truck. Would this be it?
I did but I think I'll just hold out this time around. The one going for the most is the one w/the water in the tranny:-( People obviously did not inspect the truck. The second highest needs both doors replaced the windshields both need replacing and the radiator is all rusted out.
Any idea how...
I inspected the bottom of the engine, I looked inside of the engine block and it was absolutely pristine. I reviewed my photos of the inside of the truck and did notice that the rubber shifter boot was approx and inch above where it should be. So basically the bottom of he boot was not secured...
Now it is pretty obvious but I have to ask. I probably shouldn't drive this truck 60 miles w/this milky fluid. Maybe this is overkill but here is my plan. Drain the truck outside of DRMO, add new gear oil. Drive it 30 miles, pull off & drain the fluid and refill, drive home and do the ATF...
Is there some kind of transmission detergent I can throw in there to clean out any possible oxidation/rust? Is the gear oil viscous and protectant enough to protect the inside of the transmission from rust? Common sense would tell me that given the transmission has no possible water source...
Good afternoon gentlemen. I have got a dilemna. I went made my second inspection trip today and fell in love with a deuce. Everything looked outstanding....well all except one thing. I checked all the fluids-oil,axle differential fluids, transfer case, brake fliud, and finally the transmission...

I am intested in a particular M35A2 however when I went to inspect the truck the plate does not bear a manufacturer nor does it bear a manufacturing date. It does have a SN like xxxx-xxxxx (x=numbers). When I view the GL website it also lists unknown manuf/date however it does give the same SN...
