There isn’t an aftermarket pulley for any of the gens, let alone for the 200amp.
There are only 2 correct pulleys for the 200 and 400, one is a clutch pulley and one is a fixed pulley, both Use a different
size belt.
huh?
im pretty sure coolers aren’t just some afterthought, and diesel engines inherently do not run cool…FYI, it hits 113 degrees in the SF Bay Area where I live in the summer.
you have the option of using an m998/A2 cooler and add your own PS cooler, you can also use a REV cooler, but the plumping of hose interface is a bit different.
right, but saying to go order the old isn’t a thing…ordering a new one will net you current production Part.
The OP’s truck is an Armament carrier, thus is had MCTAGS mounted on top…much heavier than what was on your 1st generation M1165
as I pointed out to you before, you can use an M998 cooler and just add the PS cooler as a second item, the ECV combines all 3 into 1 unit.
you also may want to pay attention to your radiator….it’s most likely not far behind.
for all intents, there isn’t ’..…having had both units, the modifed crossover was used on early m1113 when AMG was still using up all of GM’s left overs, you will find civilian Turbo intake manifolds on many rebuilt GEP engines, the civilian manifolds are different as they have the provision...
Either KDS or Narton TSU work with either mfg S3…does not make a difference.
Stay away from anything from MME,FMP or ES, buy only from MAC or HPG to guarantee you get an OEM part backed by a good return policy.
No idea who says not to use auto store sourced green coolant, it’s made specifically...
You’re body mounts have sagged over time, you will need to remove the 2 fronts, Jack up the body with 2 floor jacks about a 1/4-1/2in to gain the clearance, when you put it back, you might want to add an additional spacer to keep the clearance for later on….or just replace the mounts altogether...
salt water immersion….simple, just depends on which truck you bought and where it served in the USMC.
many of these trucks spent life on a ship, forward deployed as part of an MEU.
so you have an early serp, pump is an RCSK18330, you need to remove the upper radiator hose and take the pump out the top With the pulley still attached, removal and installation are done on a bench.
water/glycol separate, once you open the drain on the pan…the water and glycol will run clean, followed by the oil.
Also, you will never see into a cylinder from the injector or glow plug hole…you will be peering into a pre-cup chamber…..folks need to learn how IDI diesel engines work,
there are two different serp setups for A2 trucks, and that means you have one two different PS pumps…a pic of you serp setup will
determine what method you use to R&R the pump.
