Well I suppose that no one is interested in getting together to help keep an American Legion in need of support from closing it's doors. That is so sad to see that out of everyone out there we can't gather enough people to get together to have a good time and do something useful for a good cause...
UPDATED!! please see latest/last posting!
Hello all,
I had posted this originally under conversations (to see what kind of interest there would be). Since it has not really stirred much interest I figured maybe this would be a better place to post it, so sorry for the double post.
Anyway...
hey, welcome I am also from the skook area, should you need any help maybei can be of assistance also. Anyway you won't find a better resource than here any where else. Glad to see that our numbers are growing in the area!!!
Are you referring to the ones in the waist high weeds by the y in the road? beyond the shed. and some off to the right hand side as well? if not then I really need to take my glasses along next time or they received them shortly after I was there. But either way I will definately check when I...
well if you want I can call and find out if there are any available. I think the only one left is the one with the tranny knock, shame because it is really nice.
Really...wow. That's unusual... last time I was there they had a cpl that were nice. He had 1 that was beautiful but had a transmission knock and he wanted 5k for it. I think it had a winch too, but not sure.
Hey guys............I am going to be going to Colemans within the next 2 weeks. So if any of you need something let me know. Contact me and we will see what we can do. I can deliver it to the Gilbert (red ball) show also.
I don't know about where you live but I was told that here in Pa. even with a special permit and pay the taxes, that the IRS (believe that was the agency stated) can still fine you. Even if you are current on the taxes. Better double check that, hate to see you get Screwed by the man...
Agreed with cranetruck......my data plate on dash says No aviation fuel also. But that was probably for the original motor, that was replaced with a 5 ton LDS 465 so not sure if you can with that one or not. I would probably just shy away from it unless absolute emergency just in case.
It also depends on whether or not you want to mount anything to the top. Even as simple as a solargizer, would mount easily on a hard top. And I am willing to bet that a hard top will also cut down on a lot of the noise also. I would love to have a hard top. I just can't afford it.
Funny enough I found a younger amish guy who is about 5 miles from my house who runs an hyrdaulic shop out of his barn. So I had him make me a longer hose with a straight 1/8 inch pipe fitting on the rear elbow end and a flare end on the T end and screwed that on, no problems. However now the...
Glad to hear that he is alright. Would have been happy to tow him also, but I just got my injector oiler issue fixed today. Also glad that doghead is such a helpful person. Nice to see that there are still decent people out there. That goes for everyone that helped him out. Hope I never need to...
Well here's my two cents.................Do your research first, like stated get the manuals and familiarize your self with them (helps a lot). If it's something you want then go for it..........just remember fuel is not cheap and they are not fuel friendly. But the best way to learn something...
