check that the relay is having power go through it,,, it may click and sound like its working and not actually suppling power to GPs My truck was acting the same as yours, then I replaced the relay and it started right up in todays cold of 10

test with a ohm meter, om your electric tester,,, ground negative,, touch post lead on clip end of GP,,, should be zero resistance,,, if they show resistance,, GP is bad

All the civy hitches could not be put on,,, because the frame parts were all taken up by the military type bumper, so just welder to the flat on the bumper under the pintle

I got a weld on receiver tube and had a local welding shop weld it to the underneath the pintle on the flat of the bumper that's there ,,,with some gusseting for side twist,, took them about 1 hr and 100 bucks,,,

I just bought one with a VW motor in it, some of the rear deck is taken up by the engine shroud,, but I like the idea

take both hoses off of the heater core, and with a garden hose push water through both sides of the core,,, I bet some much crude comes out that there, the core probably wasn't flusher since new,, easy fix to an old problem lol The radiator will still show moving coolant if the heater core is...
