I’ve not gotten ahold of aluminum wheels yet. As it stands I don’t think it would work without modification of the attachment bolts. They are long and bottom out in the lug on my steel rims just as the protectors make contact.

Originally I had planned to do this myself, but looking at the work decided to have Bryce W do the gears on my truck. It is by far the best upgrade. I noticed that it is quieter, rpms come down to a reasonable range at 55-60 mph (where I cruise) and temperatures are lower. Perhaps the 3116 (A0)...

So the lug nuts on the left side of the truck loosen by turning to the right? How can I tell which ones loosen which direction?

Also interested if someone has a guide for an a0 tach install. Surprising more don’t know how to accomplish this.

Resurrecting an old thread, where can I purchase a set of the special lug nuts for my 1078?

It appears that the bolts may not be long enough, anyone have experience with this? I have the CTIS protectors (ouch$)

How can I identify the correct wheels for an lmtv 1078? Know of a yard full of them, but not which ones to look for.

I have two sets of aluminum Hutchinson wheels that look like they might fit my 1078. Do any of you know about aluminum wheels? What are these?
