Nice work! How is the ladder attached to the box? I have a non standard ladder for my 109 and it doesn't fit the stock mount so I'm trying to come up with a way to mount it.
I had this problem when I went to T831 radials and fixed it by changing the caster angle. I just cut some mild steel shims and stuck them under the stock shims and it worked. Steering is still a little lighter than I would like, but I can keep it on the road at 55 at least. Still gets scary in...
These are the guys that make them Custom Off-Road Equipment So far it's the only seal that keeps my M35A2 from leaking. The old style would be leaking again after one drive.
Yeah, but I haven't noticed it expand at all. It actually fit perfectly. I didn't have to trim any off the last row I installed. I might have to chisel out some small areas where the tongue of the last row is close to the frame of the box, but it's not rubbing so far. Sometimes things just work out.
I used red oak, engineered floating floor from Home Depot. It has stayed where I put it so far. Its the snap locking stuff which makes it super easy to install.
Thanks. Good to see another CA 109 owner.
I'll post some more progress soon. Isn't as easy now because I can't edit my old posts and have to get a mod to move them up.
I scored some new in box ones for my 109. Real nice seats and way nicer for rough roads. Since the stock 120PSI is too much I put a regulator on the air connection in the cab and ran a line out to a tee fitting to the seats. Had to drill new holes to mount them. About the biggest seat that can...
My 109 will even start leaking oil out of where the exhaust manifolds join and the turbo. When I first got my A2 it had sat on the GL lot for a long time and I was driving it around my ranch until I got it registered and it had oil running down the stack and all over the fender. When I took it...
This is my experience with deuces registered historic, but maybe it can help. I got the same run around from insurance companies either not insuring it or quoting some huge price. I went to a local Farmers agent and got it insured that day. He knew exactly what deuces were and thought it was...
